What is page with redirect?
A web page or URL that send user from one link structure to another link is known as page with redirect
For example:
Blogger redirect mobile user to redirected pages of ?m=1 to make URL mobile friendly due to this some time google search search show this page as page with redirect.
Common Reasons of page with redirect
The most common reasons of this error is change in permalink. When you change the permalink of your site URL from old to new permalink structure then this error is most commonly come.
To prevent it from happening you just need to remove the old article from google search console.
To do this you need to open google search console dashboard. Now click on navigation menu and find removal.
Click on removal and paste the old URL of same article and click request remove. When your old URL get removed then reindex your article in GSC and hopefully it get fixed.
Page with redirect is also common in blogger website. Blogger uses different URL structure for mobile and desktop.
In mobile it additionally add ?m=1 at the end of URL. When you index articles without ?m=1 this may cause page with redirect error in google search console.
Fix page with redirect:
There are Three methods to fix page with redirect in google search console.
- Index correct URL
- URL inspection
- Start Validation

1. Index Correct URL:
Mostly in blogger redirect error is common because blogger serve different URL on mobile and desktop.
To fix it in blogger you just need to index URL with ?m=1 at the end of your URL. Then it will get easily fix. Recheck your URL structure If it redirecting users to another URL then first fix it.
2. URL inspection:
URL inspection tool is very helpful in fixing google search console errors. With this tool you can easily check the error which preventing your articles from indexing.
To use this tool you just need to copy the URL and open search console then navigate to manu and click on URL inspection and paste the copies link in URL inspection tool box.
Now click on test URL if it show URL is available on google then its ok but if it show URL is not on google then click request indexing.
3. Start validation
The third solution to fix page with redirect is starting of validation tool. This tool is very helpful I fixing any error in google search console. To use this tool you need to follow this procedure. First of all open search console and click on navigation menu.
Now click on pages google search console show you both indexed and not indexed pages. Click on not indexed pages after it click on pages with redirect error there you can see the option start validation click on it and start the validation process.
